Cheap Flights Asia – Asia has now become user friendly.

As a result, many of the seats to and from Asia were the more expensive Business Class or First Class, and fewer were the “Economy" class that we were used to in the rest of the world. Cheap flights to Asia started to blossom as a result of three factors:

The relative increase in the incomes of many Asians, which started to create a middle class with middle class aspirations, including the willingness to travel farther to places with different cultures, languages and flight patterns.

The relative increase in Asian economies meant that those outside Asia wanted to fly there for business reasons. As many of the newer businessmen were more price-conscious, they proved more susceptible to lower fares when making their travel decisions.

The spread of lower-cost, cheap flights to Europe and the US started spreading to Asia as more and more from that region started to realize that their economies were being held back by the antiquated policies that they used to try and bolster their flag carriers. As soon as the larger economic impact was measured, many Asians realized that it was to their benefit to have more people traveling at lower cost.

So why are cheap flights to Asia less common than they are in other parts of the world? Some of the reason has to do with infrastructure. That is, airports are not as far along in the major capitals and travel points of Asia as they are in other parts of the world. If you fly to Taipei, for example, you will find that the slots are extremely limited for landing and takeoff. While Taipei airport officials understand the problem and will be growing their airport, such expansion can take a long time. In the meantime, the airport is effectively capacity-controlled, which means that a more scarce resource costs more for those who are willing to use it.
